Ticket Policy

All tickets are non-transferrable. Once a ticket is purchased it may not be used by another guest to enter the venue, even if the original guest is leaving.

UVU Sporting Events: Children six and older require a ticket.

All other events (unless otherwise noted): All patrons are required to buy a ticket.

Re-entry: Guests who leave the UCCU Center and wish to return must have their ticket stub, or a stamp on their hand (depending on the event). There are some events where NO re-entry is allowed.

Will Call: For will call tickets go to window #6 of the ticket office. Will call tickets for Flash games are available in the south lobby. The Ticket Office is located on the lower-level West side.

 

Lost & Found

Lost and Found articles should be turned into the UCCU Center Management Office or given to a staff member working the event.

If you have lost something in the UCCU Center please call the management office at 801-863-8767.

If you’ve lost something on campus, UVU Lost & Found can be reached through Campus Police Department at 801-863-8014.

 

Guest Conduct

Guests should not take any action that inhibits the progress of any game or event.

Guests should avoid clothing that could potentially distract other guests or diminish the ability of other guests to enjoy any game or event.

Guests should avoid the use of foul or abusive language and refrain from making obscene gestures.

Guests should refrain from any display of affection inappropriate in a public setting.

 

Concessions

Concession stands are located on the concourse in the North and South ends.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, pretzels, candy and drinks are some of the foods available for purchase.

No outside food or drinks are allowed in UCCU Center. Water refill stations are available for patrons bringing in an empty refillable water bottle or sealed 20 oz bottle of water. *Some events may prohibit water bottles, check your event webpage

 

PA Announcements

All public address announcements are carefully scripted for each event. It is not possible for guests to facilitate any personal announcements during an event unless there is an emergency.

 

ATM Locations

For your convenience, an ATM machine is located on the 2nd floor of UCCU Center on the north west side of the building by the elevator.

 

Advertisements & Handouts

All advertisements and handouts must be approved prior to an event. You may not put handouts on parked cars without approval. For more information call the Management Office at 801-863-8767.

Violators will be asked to remove ads and handouts and may be removed from campus.

 

Floor Access

Only authorized and properly credentialed personnel, or banded patrons will be permitted on the arena floor, before, during, or after an event or concert. Any unauthorized person who enters the arena floor will be escorted off the floor. Violators may be asked to leave.

 

Restrooms

All public and ADA accessible restrooms are located on the 2nd level. Men’s restrooms are in Quads 1 and 3. Women’s restrooms are in Quads 2 and 4.

 

Outside Vendors

Selling items of any kind during an event must have the approval of UCCU Center Director. This applies to sales inside and outside of UCCU Center, UCCU Ballpark and UCCU Stadium. Call 801-863-8767 or submit our contact us form for more information. Anyone selling food of any type must also have the proper permits required by Utah County and the State of Utah.

 

Cellular Phone Use

The use of cellular phones is permitted inside UCCU Center provided their use does not interfere with another guest’s ability to enjoy the event.

 

Cameras

Large professional cameras, selfie poles, video and professional recording equipment of any kind are strictly prohibited. Some events may permit the use of a fixed lens camera, check your event webpage for specific guidelines.

Strollers

Strollers, buggies, and prams are not allowed inside the venue. Stroller parking is available through the west-side lower level entrance of UCCU Center. All items are left at your own risk. UCCU Center is not liable for any items left in this area.

 

Usher/Staff

During all of our events there are ushers or other staff members available to answer questions or help with problems that might arise.

Ushers will all be wearing the same outfit which will show that they are staff members.

Elevators

Elevators are located in both the north and south ends of UCCU Center.

 

Police

Police officers are positioned throughout the UCCU Center during every event. If you need a police officer and cannot locate one please ask a member of the staff. To reach UVU campus police call: 801-863-5555.

 

AED Devices

AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices are available in Quad 1 (northwest corners) of Levels 1 and 2 of the UCCU Center. If assistance is needed to use the device, please contact the center office or the EMT on staff for the event.

 

Bag Policy

All events at UCCU Center, UCCU Ballpark and UCCU Stadium have a No Bag or Clear Bag policy. See the event webpage for event specific policies.

Our bag policy improves public safety and ensures a smooth access to all venues. We strive to provide a secure environment for all events and venues.

See below for clear bag policy guidelines:
  • Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or be a clear one gallon resealable plastic freezer storage bag. One per person.
  • A logo is permitted on one side of the bag not exceeding 4.5” x 3.4”  • Small clutch bags (with or without a strap) that are 5” x 8” or smaller are permitted.
  • Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated areas.
  • Exceptions are made for diaper bags (child must be present). All bags are subject to search.

Some events at UCCU Center may have different bag guidelines, always review the details on the event page for any variation to the above policy.

All permissible bags are subject to search. The UCCU Center reserves the right to inspect and remove any packages or items that are not permissible in the venue. UCCU Center Management reserves the right to prohibit any items as deemed necessary for the safety and security of all attendees. For a list of prohibited items, see the complete list here.

 

Doors Open

Doors Open times vary by event but typically open 1 hour before the start of the event.

 

Parking

Event guests are permitted to park in the following UVU parking lots on event days as required: L3, L5, L14, and W1.

ADA designated parking is in the visitor lot directly north west of UCCU Center. A valid ADA placard must be displayed on your dashboard or license plate for entry. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

Vehicles may be permitted to enter the lot to drop off patrons in front of the ADA entrance but must vacate the lot after drop off. Vehicles dropping off that do not vacate lot may receive a ticket or be towed at owner’s expense.

UVU The DEN Member Guidelines

All members of The DEN must have their current UVU DEN student ID in order to have free entry into UVU sporting events. No entry will be allowed without UVU DEN ID card. NO exceptions.

 

Prohibited Items

For the comfort and safety of all, the following items are not permitted inside the arena:

  • Alcohol
  • Aluminum cans, thermoses, and glass bottles
  • Artificial noisemakers, airhorns, and whistles
  • Balloons
  • Beach balls, frisbees, bats, clubs or any projectile
  • Clothing or signs displaying explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person(s)
  • Coolers and ice chests
  • Cameras and audio recording devices
  • Drones
  • Face Coverings (masks that cover more than just the mouth and nose)
  • Fireworks, lighters, and vapes
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Large stadium seats or camp chairs
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Outside food and drink
  • Personal heaters
  • Poles, selfie-sticks, tripods, and monopods
  • Weapons* (knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc.)         
    • *Except as expressly permitted by Utah State Law and Utah Valley University

For high school events, the following are also not allowed:
  • Confetti
  • Pom Poms

The UCCU Center reserves the right to inspect all items brought into the facility. By using a ticket to enter the arena each guest consents to such a search, and waives any related claims against UVU. Guests who decline consent to these searches will be denied entry. Additional security measures may be implemented to ensure the safety of all guests and personnel within the facility.

 

Alcohol and Smoking

Utah State law prohibits smoking inside any building and within 25 feet from any entrance to the building. A smoking patio is available on the south side of the 2nd level. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the UVU Campus. Public intoxication may lead to ejection from the facility.

 

Children

At all events, unless otherwise noted, all patrons are required to buy a ticket*

UVU Sporting Events: Children six and older require a ticket.

Diaper changing stations are located in the Women’s restrooms in Quads 2 and 4.

Lost Children: If you lose a child contact a staff member for assistance. If you find a lost child bring him/her to a staff member. Staff will ask for the assistance of the University Police in either situation

 

Service Animals

We welcome service animals defined by the Americans with Disabilities ACT (ADA) to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are NOT considered service animals; and are NOT permitted inside UCCU Center or on campus at UVU.

 

First Aid

An EMT is on location for all major events. The EMT is not allowed to administer any type of medication (i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.). An ambulance will be called if the situation is deemed necessary. If you are in need of an EMT during an event please speak to a staff member.

Emergency Evacuations: In the event of an emergency, the UCCU Center staff will assist patrons with the evacuation of the building.

 

Guest Emergencies

If you must contact a guest during an event due to an emergency please call UCCU Center Management Office at 801-863-6175. Staff and University Police officers will do their best to locate them quickly inside the venue.
