Event Info: The 7th Annual Utah DanceSport Challenge is being held at the Lockhart Arena on campus at Utah Valley University. Utah DanceSport Challenge is an official NDCA sanctioned event, hosting NDCA judges from all over the United States. 

  • Doors open: 6:00 AM
  • Event starts: 7:05 AM

Location: UVU Lockhart Arena

Bag Policy:

  • Small clutch 5" x 8" or smaller are permitted.
    • limit 1 per person
    • Leave all non-essential items at home or in your vehicle
  • Medically necessary bags permitted after inspection. 
  • All persons and bags are subject to search. Staff reserves the right to inspect and remove any items as deemed necessary.
  • Exceptions made for competitors. 

Venue Information:

  • NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK.
  • ARRIVE EARLY: Please arrive early to find parking, clear security and locate your seat. 
  • Metal Detectors in use. Be prepared to clear security and have any permissible items searched prior to entry. 
  • We welcome service animals defined by the ADA to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.
    • Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered service animals; and are not permitted inside UCCU Center or on campus at UVU.

  • The Rebecca Lockhart Arena is located East of UCCU Center, it can be found on campus maps under the building designation RL.

Directions, Parking and Transportation

The UCCU Center is located in the heart of Utah County in the city of Orem on the campus of Utah Valley University. Just off Interstate-15 on exit 269 (University Parkway). Guests are permitted to park in parking lots L3, L5, L8, L14 and W1. Please review our parking guide for more information and maps.

Prohibited Items

For the comfort and safety of all, the following items are not permitted inside the arena:

  • Alcohol
  • Aluminum cans, thermoses, and glass bottles
  • Artificial noisemakers, airhorns, and whistles
  • Beach balls, frisbees, bats, clubs or any projectile
  • Clothing or signs displaying explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person(s)
  • Coolers and ice chests
  • Cameras and audio recording devices
  • Drones
  • Face coverings (masks that cover more than just the mouth and nose)
  • Fireworks, lighters and vapes
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Large stadium seats or camp chairs
  • Laser Pens/Pointers
  • Personal heaters
  • Poles, selfie-sticks, tripods, and monopods
  • Weapons* (knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc)
        *Except as expressly permitted by Utah State Law and Utah Valley University


Policy:
All permissible bags are subject to search. The UCCU Center reserves the right to inspect and remove any packages or items that are not permissible in the venue. UCCU Center Management reserves the right to prohibit any other item(s) as deemed necessary.
